Website Care Plan terms

Plain-language terms for your website build and monthly care plan. Signing up through our payment page means you agree to them.

1. What we build

We build your website on Squarespace from a Beers Labs design, up to five pages, using the text, photos, logo, hours and other details you send us. We launch within 14 days of receiving everything we need. Your site is set up in your own Squarespace account, and we stay on it as a contributor so we can make your edits.

2. What you pay

• Care Plan: $99 a month (Standard) or $149 a month (Restaurant, which adds regular menu updates). Billed monthly through Stripe to your card or bank account, starting the day you sign up.
• Squarespace: you pay Squarespace directly for your website plan, at Squarespace's published price.
• Your domain: you pay for your own domain name renewal.

3. What the Care Plan includes

• Up to 2 hours of edits each month: text, photos, hours, specials, events, and menu changes on the Restaurant plan.
• Keeping your Google Business Profile in step with your site.
• A monthly check that your site loads, is secure, and works on phones.
• Edits completed within 2 business days of your request by email or text.

Unused hours do not roll over. Larger projects, such as new pages, online ordering or a redesign, are quoted in writing first and billed at $75 an hour.

4. Term and cancelling

The Care Plan runs for 12 months from the day you sign up. After that it continues month to month, and you can cancel any time with 30 days notice by email.

If you cancel before the 12 months are up, a one-time $500 build fee becomes due. Once it is paid, the site is yours to keep with no further obligation to us.

5. What you own

You own your domain, your business name, your logo, and all the text and photos you give us. After 12 months of Care Plan payments, or once the build fee is paid, you also own the finished site design.

You confirm that you have the right to use everything you send us, including photos and logos.

6. If a payment fails

If a payment fails and is not fixed within 15 days, we pause edits until it is. Your site stays online either way, because it lives in your Squarespace account.

7. Price changes

Your price will not change during your first 12 months. After that, we will give you at least 30 days notice by email before any change.

8. Limits

We work carefully, but we cannot guarantee search rankings, sales, or uninterrupted service from Squarespace, Google or other providers. Our total responsibility to you is limited to the Care Plan fees you paid in the 3 months before a claim.

9. The basics

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon. If any part is found unenforceable, the rest still applies.
